Holding the Public Defense of the PhD Dissertation Submitted by the Researcher Ahmed Mohamed Rashad Sayed Ahmed

Faculty of Law at Tanta University held the public defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by the Researcher Ahmed Mohamed Rashad Sayed Ahmed on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 entitled “Sharia Guidelines for Debts in Islamic Banks, a Comparative Study between Islamic Jurisprudence and Secular Law” under supervision of Prof. Ashraf Abdel Razek Weh, Professor and Head of Islamic Sharia Department at the Faculty.

   Judgement and discussion committee consisted of Prof. Seif Ragab Kazamel, Full Professor of Comparative Jurisprudence at Faculty of Sharia and Law in Tanta, as a chairman; Prof. Zaki Zaki Zedan, Full Professor of Islamic Sharia at the faculty, as a member; and Prof. Ashraf Abdel Razek Weh, Professor and Head of Islamic Shariah Department at the Faculty, as the supervisor and a member.

    Following the defense, the committee commended the dissertation topic and the researcher’s outstanding presentation and recommended granting the researcher the PhD degree with a grade of “Very Good with Honors”.
