Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Dean of the College, participated in the discussion and evaluation of a PhD thesis at the College of Shari'a and Law in Tanta, Graduate Studies Department, General Jurisprudence Section, submitted by the researcher Mr. Ahmed Omar Othman Yusuf, Assistant Lecturer in the General Jurisprudence Department at the College of Shari'a and Law in Tuhna El-Ashraf, Dakahlia.
The topic of the thesis is: "Guarantees of Eligibility for the Classification Rights Compensation through Satellite Broadcasting Channels: A Jurisprudential Study Compared to Positive Law."
The discussion and evaluation committee consisted of the following esteemed professors:
• Prof. Ramadan Abdullah Al-Sawy, Professor of General Jurisprudence and Vice President of Al-Azhar University for the Lower Egypt Region, as the primary Shari'ah Supervisor.
• Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Helmy Al-Tawabi, Professor of General Jurisprudence (Retired), Head of the General Jurisprudence Department, and former Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the College of Shari'a and Law in Tanta, as the Internal Shari'ah Examiner.
• Prof. Hamdy Ahmed Saad, Professor of Civil Law and Dean of the College of Shari'a and Law in Tanta, as the primary Legal Supervisor.
• Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Professor of Civil Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Tanta University, as the External Legal Examiner.
This will take place, with God's will, on Monday, the 20th of Rajab, 1446 AH, corresponding to January 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the College’s Celebration Hall.
