The public defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by Researcher Bassant Osama Mohamed Omar Hussein Farghaly, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Civil Law, Faculty of Law – Tanta University, was held on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the faculty.

The dissertation was supervised by:

Prof. Nabila Ismail Raslan, Professor Emerita of Civil Law and Former Vice Dean of the Faculty.

The Discussion and Judgement Committee was composed of:

• Prof. Nabila Ismail Raslan, Emeritus Professor of Civil Law and Former Vice Dean – Supervisor and Chairperson

• Prof. Mostafa Ahmed Abu Amr, Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Law and Former Faculty Dean – Member

• Prof. Reda Abdel-Halim Abdel-Magid Abdel-Bary, Professor of Civil Law and Dean of Faculty of Law – Benha University – Member

    The defense was attended by Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Faculty Dean, along with a number of academic staff members, teaching assistants, and several distinguished judges and legal advisors from various judicial authorities.

   The committee commended the significance of the dissertation’s topic and the researcher’s outstanding presentation. The committee recommended awarding the PhD degree with a grade of Very Good with Honors, and also recommended printing the dissertation.
