Seminar on Financial Inclusion, Innovation Support, and Entrepreneurship Held at the Faculty of Law, Tanta University

    In line with the efforts of educational and economic institutions to promote awareness of financial inclusion and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, a seminar entitled “Financial Inclusion, Innovation Support, and Entrepreneurship” was held on Monday, October 27, 2025, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Samy Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

   The seminar was delivered by Dr. Ramadan Maan, Head of the Economics Department, Faculty of Commerce, Tanta University, and Executive Director of the Main Center for Digital Transformation and Financial Inclusion at Tanta University, along with the Retail Banking Management Team of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, in the framework of the cooperation protocol between Tanta University and the Agricultural Bank of Egypt. The event was attended by a group of faculty members, the Director of Youth Welfare Department, and many students.

   In his opening speech, Prof. Sami Mohamed Abdel Aal welcomed the attendees and speakers, highlighting the significance of financial inclusion in achieving sustainable development by enabling all segments of society to access financial and banking services easily and securely.

    During the seminar, Dr. Ramadan Maan emphasized the importance of this event as part of the ongoing efforts to raise awareness of financial inclusion as a cornerstone of sustainable economic development.

    The seminar was attended by a number of experts and specialists, faculty members, Mr. Tamer El-Mahallawy, Faculty Secretary General, and a lot of students. The event came as part of the institution’s commitment to spreading financial literacy and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among youth.

   The seminar was organized by Ms. Bahia El-Menshawy, Director of the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty.
