Seminar Titled: “Mother’s Day Between Social Awareness and Family Values”

   Under the patronage of Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity; Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President; and under the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Law; and Prof. Sami Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Social Solidarity Unit at Tanta University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law, organized a seminar titled “Mother’s Day Between Social Awareness and Family Values.”

   The seminar was delivered by Prof. Sami Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Law, and Prof. Randa El-Deeb, Professor of the Foundations of Child Education at the Faculty of Education — Tanta University, and Founder of the initiative “Raise Your Child Right.” The seminar addressed the importance of family values and appreciation of mothers, highlighting the concepts of gratitude and filial respect in the Arab culture. It also discussed the role of the family in instilling respect for mothers among children, and the impact of appreciation on family stability. Dr. Reham El-Sawah, Manager of the Social Solidarity Unit, further highlighted the unit’s role in organizing such social events and their positive impact on the community.

   At the conclusion of the seminar, the speakers were honored, along with two ideal mothers from the Faculty of Law — Ms. Amal Rashed (Archives Department) and Ms. Hanan El-Helby (Accounts Department) — by Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Sami Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The seminar was organized by Ms. Bahia El-Menshawy, Director of the Student Welfare Administration at the faculty.
