Tanta Faculty of Law Organizes a Symposium on "Intellectual Property and Its Relation to Youth Creativity"

Under the patronage of Prof. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Acting President of Tanta University; Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Dean of Faculty of Law; and Prof. Hassan El-Boudy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Student Welfare Department at Faculty of Law, Tanta University, organized an awareness symposium titled "Intellectual Property and Its Relation to Youth Creativity" in the context of the presidential initiative, "A New Beginning for Human Development".

   The symposium was held on Monday, February 24, 2025, and was attended by Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Samy Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

   In his speech, Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr affirmed that the symposium aligns with the university’s strategy to support and encourage innovation among students. He highlighted the importance of raising awareness among young people about their intellectual property rights and how to protect them in the face of rapid technological advancements.

   The event attracted a large student turnout, and an open discussion session was held to address students' inquiries. The symposium was conducted under the supervision of Mrs. Bahia El-Menshawy, Manager of Student Welfare Department at the Faculty.
