Inauguration of the 10th Annual Conference Titled “Law and Women”

    Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President; Prof. Hatem Amin, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Dean of Faculty of Law; and Prof. Ramzy Rashad El-Sheikh, Faculty Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Faculty of Law at Tanta University organized the 10th Annual Scientific Conference titled “Law and Women” on July 21 & 22, 2025.

   The inauguration was attended by Prof. Hatem Amin, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Dean of Faculty of Law; Prof. Ramzy Rashad El-Sheikh, Faculty Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Samy Mohamed Abdel Aal, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hassan Mohamed Boudy, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; heads of scientific departments, a distinguished group of academic staff members, teaching assistants, administrators, and guests from various legal and scientific fields.

     In the speech he delivered, Prof. Hatem Amin, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, affirmed that the university gives great interest to enhancement of scientific research and encouragement of researchers so that they can conduct research that develop community. In addition, he highlighted the significance of the role played by women in community and the importance of securing their legal rights.

   For his part, Prof. Osama Ahmed Badr, Faculty Dean, declared that the conference is considered one of the most important scientific events held by Faculty of Law, indicating that topics of the conference include different legal aspects related to women such as the political, economic and social rights.

   Activities of the conference included many scientific sessions and discussions where researchers and specialists from various Egyptian universities took part.
