Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and Prof. Hatem El-Sayed Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, an orientation seminar on the “Scientific Research and Measurement Center at the University” was held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Faculty of Agriculture under the supervision of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Prof. Amgad Abdel Ghaffar El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

   The seminar was organized jointly by the faculty’s Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector in collaboration with the university’s Scientific Research and Measurement Center.

   It was presented by Prof. Eman Abdel Sattar El-Khatib, Assistant Professor of Botany at the Faculty of Science, Tanta University, and Manager of the Scientific Research and Measurement Center, accompanied by her team: Dr. Noha Sami and Dr. Maysa El-Naggar.

   The seminar was attended several distinguished guests, including Prof. Hagar Alam El-Din, Professor of Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, and Manager of Tanta University’s Public Service Centers; Prof. Osama Abdel Hamid, Head of the Crop Science Department and former Manager of the Quality Unit; Prof. Amira El-Karidi, Head of the Genetics Department; and Prof. Rania Ahmed Mohamed, Professor of Agricultural Economics at the faculty. The event also included many teaching assistants, postgraduate students, and third- and fourth-level students. The event was organized by the Faculty Student Union and the “For Egypt” student group.
