The Youth Welfare Office at the Faculty of Law — Tanta University — announces, under the patronage of the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in cooperation with the Science Club Center at the General Administration of Student Welfare, the launch of the university’s major Scientific Photography Competition entitled “Hidden World.” This competition aims to encourage students’ creativity and innovation while linking art with various scientific fields.
Competition Categories
Students may participate with a photograph in one of the following themes:
• Hidden Worlds: Microscopic images capturing details invisible to the naked eye.
• Our Changing Planet: Climate change and biodiversity (aligned with Egypt Vision 2030).
• Symphony of Life: Documenting the behavior of living organisms and their interaction with the environment.
• Space and the Universe: Astronomical phenomena, stars, and applications of space technology.
• Engineering and Innovation: Sustainable architecture, robotics, and modern technological applications.
• People of Science: Documenting scientists and researchers during their work in laboratories or in the field.
Participation Requirements
• The participant must be enrolled at the Faculty of Law, Tanta University in the academic year 2025/2026.
• The photograph must be taken by the student (not copied or substantially altered).
• Each student may submit one photograph only in one of the listed categories.
• Scientific Caption: A brief scientific description (100–150 words) explaining the concept or phenomenon represented in the photograph must be also submitted.
• Minor adjustments (lighting or color) are permitted, provided they do not alter the scientific content of the image.
• The photograph must not contain any inappropriate content or material inconsistent with university values.
Deadline
The final deadline for submitting entries (photos/videos) to the General Administration of Student Welfare at the university is Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
Students wishing to participate are kindly requested to visit the Youth Welfare Office at their faculty to register their names and submit their work.
